This role in summary

Leading all Regulatory activities related to IEC standards and Regulations in Asia region.

Your responsibilities will include

Regulatory affairs in Asia (Pacific countries including China, Oceania and India Cluster) in Home appliances. \xef\x82\xb7 Communicate the changes in Regulatory activities in Asia on IEC and other Asian standards \xef\x82\xb7 Join IEC Technical Committee/ Working Groups and represent Whirlpool Asia \xef\x82\xb7 Advocacy with Govt. bodies / IEC Panel in favour of business \xef\x82\xb7 Extend support, to stakeholders in resolving queries related to IEC Standards and Certifications \xef\x82\xb7 As an internal Compliance Council member, communicate with leadership \xef\x82\xb7 Exposure/experience of working in a global cross functional team environment. Key Deliverables \xef\x82\xb7 Should be able to interpret IEC Standards and other Asian Standards and communicate to the stakeholders \xef\x82\xb7 Release Artefacts related to Regulations including Energy, Performance and Safety depending on Country regulations

Minimum requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION S B.Tech/BE Mech/Electrical AGE EXP 10-13 yrs Experience of Regulatory (Codes and Standards) activities in Home appliance

Preferred skills and experiences

TECHNICAL 1.Proficient in Codes and Standards 2.Knowledge of Asia/ India/Oceania Countries standards, Materials, EMC etc
