In Control Hardware we have the responsibility of the Low-Voltage systems and control system of the turbines. In our daily work, we are in very close interaction with our main stakeholder as we support all systems in the turbines across both onshore and offshore projects. The team is involved in various activities including innovation projects, feasibility studies and prototype testing, while focusing on product development as our main goal. The core outputs within Backup System & NAI is the complete design of electrical power backup consisting of specifications of the electrical panels and power back-up functions. Our core competencies are within electrical engineering, integration of products and requirements specifications. In our team (Backup Systems) we are responsible for providing power to critical systems during grid disturbances with various AC or DC UPS systems (high power DC Li-ion systems, 24V UPS etc), to ensure ride through and operation of those critical systems throughout the event. We own this from idea phase all the way from manufacturing, commissioning, operation, maintenance and decommission. Our other work area is integration of aviation & marine lights. Responsibilities Guide the mechanical design and development of panels, tools for wind turbine transportation, installation, and maintenance Collaborate on various initiatives such as Design Improvements, Module Projects, Design Maintenance, and Cost Outs to enhance quality and reduce costs Drive cost reduction and quality improvement by implementing standardization, modularization, and process efficiency enhancements Generate technical design documentation, including 3D CAD models, 2D drawings Coordinate and deliver Business Support tasks, overseeing the completion of work packages with a focus on project execution through SAP/ERP/PDM ECM systems Foster cross-functional collaboration with interface owners across the value chain to ensure seamless integration Ensure timely and cost-effective project execution, delivering technical solutions that meet quality targets Qualifications Bachelor\'s / Master\'s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Similar Specialization Minimum 8+ years of experience mechanical design and CAD tools Proficiency in mechanical design and specification adhering to relevant international standards Hands-on experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting, preferably utilizing CREO/PDMlink, along with project execution proficiency through ERP/ECM systems Demonstrated experience in electromechanical design and compliance with relevant international standards Competencies Experience from Electrical Design and Development, with thorough Knowledge in SW Development Cycle Well versed in Engineering Change management systems Competence in DFMEA and risk assessment skills What We Offer We offer you a job with high degree of involvement from project concept to final verification.
