Corrosion: Providing expert advice and solutions to avoid and manage corrosion-related problems in new projects or modifications to existing facilities.
Cathodic Protection (CP): Develop, review and specifiy cathodic protection systems in new projects or modifications to existing facilities.
The key high-level aspects of the role are as follows:
A technical specialist, capable applying advanced engineering concepts to unique engineering problems, typically requires more than 15 years progressively more responsible pertinent experience.
Uses advanced technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce engineering deliverables including complex problems and to complete any project tasks with minimal guidance and direction.
Serves as the Lead Engineer or the project Technical Authority on projects and holds advanced level specialisation in one or more areas of the materials discipline (i.e. corrosion, CP).
Reviews and manages complex projects within area of expertise or of a multidisciplinary nature.
Generally directs highly qualified professionals engaged in complex engineering projects.
Provides technical direction and guidance, managing client relationship and project team engagement.
