Overall responsibilities and duties: The engineer will be responsible to monitor and integrate changes of the various software components developed in the context of the development of a customer program. The Sr. software integrator/developer will also be responsible for setting up and evolving the continuous integration process of the customer program. He/she will also be in charge of the regular builds delivered to customer. Need to lead team of highly skilled DevOps engineers if required. Make the right technical choices and tradeoffs governed by data driven development Guide the team for shipping the solution. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level: Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science. Experience: Master/Bachelor of engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science with prior experience of minimum 8-10 years in Automotive Embedded Software Integration Development of low-level embedded software Skills and competencies: Must Have: Software: 1. Automating and optimizing build, test, integration and release processes for publicly distributed libraries. 2. Experienced on following SCM tools Git/Gerrit, SVN and BitBucket 3. Experienced on following continuous integration tool Experience in configuring/deploying and maintaining Jenkins for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) Groovy is preferable. 4. Experienced on following tools Docker and Docker swarm Jira/Confluence JFrog Artifactory 5. Strong Embedded C Hands-on Experience 6. Experienced on Linux, Makefiles 7. Experienced in Java development 8. Experienced in scripting (Python, bash) 9. Good debugging and analytical skills. 10. Identifying Infrastructure needs and translating them into action. Nice to have: Knowledge in functional safety and ISO 26262 Experience of working in Scrum team in Agile methodology Knowledge in analytical tools (Valgrind, coverity) Unit Test Framework (GTest, CANTATA) Responsibilities: Integration and configuration of software components from platform/project teams via git / gerrit /Bitbucket: o Android platform (Java, C / C ++) o Software libraries in C / C ++ Develop the continuous integration for the needs of the project team (develop integration tests (in connection to validation team), configure Jenkins jobs, ...) Monitor continuous integration (static analysis tools report, nightly builds, upstream tests , measure performances through KPIs...) Be in charge of SW deliveries to customer Prepare the changes at the project level necessary for the integration Prepare Static Analysis report, open source Licenses report Problem solving techniques & capability Mindset/Attitude: Sense of ownership: will do their best to get the job done Team player with strong communication skills in English Growth mindset: eager to learn and develop as an individual Be an effective leader in crafting and driving industry best practices of CI/CD.
