You will join our Bridges & Civils department

As our new Lead Engineer- Bridges & Civils you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design centre owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

As a lead member of the bridge team, you will be responsible for:

A Design Lead shall co-ordinate with Project Manager of PBU and Technical Manager/Team leader/ Design Lead of respective discipline and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings and is expected to be a good team player within the design team,

A Overseeing and troubleshooting the work of bridge design, guide Assistant Engineers / Design Engineers in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings.

A Timely delivery of project submissions including resource management

A Monitoring the budgets and additional scopes through change management

A Implementation of QA & QC procedures

A Identifying the risks and plan for their mitigation

A Keep stakeholders well informed on the project status at regular intervals

A Compliance to ISO requirements

a~ We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:

a~ BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech in Structures would be desirable.

a~ Should have more than 10+ years of experience in Bridge design. Knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO. Preferred with Internation projects experience.

a~ Knowledge of understanding of the analysis and design principles of bridge design.

a~ Have hands on experience in using any of the bridge design software (LUSAS/Sofistik/MIDAS/STAAD Pro etc),

a~ Should be a good team member and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project

a~ Should be able to work in a team and support, mentor and develop team members

a~ Professional English language skills (written and verbal).

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include good communication skills (verbal & written)
