Data Integration Platform Lead

This position reports into Enterprise Integration Lead and is based at Bangalore, India.

What You Will Do

The Data Integration Platform Lead is responsible for leading IICS,SAP Data Services Platform activities and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and SAP Data Services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team in using IICS and SAP Data Services for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Mentor and upskill team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Define and enforce data integration governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data standards.
• Implement data quality checks and validation mechanisms within integration workflows.
• Lead and manage a team of data engineers, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
• Foster a collaborative and dynamic team environment that values teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with business users, data analysts, architects, and application owners to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data between various systems and applications.
• Optimize data integration workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to identify and resolve bottlenecks or failures.
• Implement data security measures such as encryption, access controls, and data masking to protect sensitive information during integration.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide training to internal teams on using IICS and SAP Data Services effectively.
• Collaborate with Informatica and SAP support teams to stay updated on product features, enhancements, and best practices.
• Provide feedback to vendors to influence product improvements and updates.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and SAP Data Services.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data transformation, data quality, and data integration patterns.
• Previous experience leading technical teams, fostering growth, and creating a collaborative work environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and transformation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in Informatica, SAP Data Services, or data integration technologies are a plus.

• The ability to understand business needs and align api integration strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
• Adept at working in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving technologies and business requirements.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to assess complex integration challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Experience in managing projects, coordinating resources, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Relevant certifications in api management, or related fields are advantageous, but not mandatory.
