Job Description

Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development of reliable and sustainable sources of energy,Power Infra, policies and procedures to support Adani's environmental sustainability on powering up Data Centres
Project Planning & Execution: Execution of Power Purchase agreemebts on reliable renewable source, planning of Power availaibity, regulations executions through authorities, Distribution licenses execution.
Stakeholder Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive energy efficiency initiatives and optimize renewable energy usage. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and industry partners
Technology: Identify and evaluate emerging sustainable energy technologies and trends for potential integration into data center operations
Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance on renewable energy projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
Performance Monitoring: Oversee the performance monitoring and analysis of renewable energy systems to maximize efficiency and reliability
Workforce Capability-Building: Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory requirements related to renewable and sustainable energy
Brand Positioning: Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.
Team Development: Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital business success.
Digital mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.
Qualifications:

  • Master's/Bachelors degree in Energy, Environment is desirable
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience. Though candidates with extremely strong quantitative skills with lesser experience may also be considered.
  • Should have a strong research background, along with an understanding of the renewable, Corporate PPA and Power sector
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement
  • If Candidate is from Data Center or Large Energy Intensive Industry, would be value add
