Key Responsibilities

Lead the complete

embedded systems development lifecycle

--requirements, architecture, coding, testing, and validation.

Develop

firmware

for microcontrollers, processors, and embedded platforms (ARM, STM32, PIC, etc.).

Design and integrate

sensor interfaces, communication protocols

, and hardware driver modules.

Work closely with electrical, power electronics, and mechanical teams for system integration.

Ensure compliance with

medical device safety and quality standards

(IEC 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).

Develop real-time algorithms, control logic, and system diagnostics for medical equipment.

Conduct code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and documentation as per design control processes.

Lead

architecture definition

, component selection, and embedded platform optimization.

Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to prepare technical documentation for audits.

Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional engineering activities.

Technical Skills Required

Strong proficiency in

Embedded C/C++

, RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX), and firmware design.

Expertise in

microcontroller architecture

(ARM Cortex, DSPs, Microchip, TI).

Hands-on experience with

communication protocols

(SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, BLE).

Experience with

embedded Linux

(optional but preferred).

Familiarity with

digital/analog hardware

, schematics, and debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes).

Understanding of

safety-critical embedded systems

, watchdogs, redundancy, and fail-safe mechanisms.

Experience with

medical device standards

and design controls (IEC 60601, ISO 13485).

Knowledge of version control and CI tools (Git, Jenkins, SVN).
