Designation: Electrical design Engineer/Lead Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Tender specifications, data sheets and material requisites (MRs),
Technical bid evaluation (TBE), design basis reports (DBR) and technical
specification.
Preparation of Single Line Diagrams (overall and basic protection); Schematic
diagrams, schedules I/O List and logics for EHV/MV/ LV system.
Substation Engineering (conductor sizing, sag tension analysis, protection
philosophy, short circuit force for voltage level up to 220kV AIS / GIS).
Sizing calculations for electrical equipment (CT/PT, Transformers, DC system, UPS
system, Auxiliary system, Switchgears, MCCs, etc.)
Calculations for electrical components (cables, cable tray/conduit sizing, cable
tray loading calculations, and earthing and lighting design calculations).
System studies calculations (Load flow, Short circuit, Motor starting) using ETAP
software and manual calculations.
Review of Layouts and engineering drawings include Substation General
Arrangement, Erection Key diagram, Earthmat details, Raceways, lighting,
grounding and equipment layout;
Prepare cable / Distribution Board schedules, inter panel wirings.
Proficient in reviewing technical documents, drawings and specifications in
consideration with project scope for managing the quality standards andimplementing the changes as and when required Competency in administeringdesign engineering operations involving design & development of detaileddrawing for Project in coordination with other internal departments
Kick-off meetings, progress meetings and technical meetings.
Team Development.
Manage Lesson Learned database.
