Job Purpose: Lead - EHS will be responsible for leading and advancing the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across Data Centre operations. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive EHS strategies, driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety.
Responsibilities:
EHS Strategy:
Spearhead and implement comprehensive EHS policies and programs to align with industry standards and organizational goals.
Audit Management:
Oversee and manage regular audits and inspections, addressing findings and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Risk Management:
Collaborate with senior management to assess EHS risks and develop mitigation strategies for operational hazards.
Incident Analysis:
Lead investigations into incidents and non-compliance issues, providing corrective action recommendations and preventive measures.
Strategic Support:
Provide expert EHS guidance to teams, contractors, and vendors, promoting safety practices and regulatory alignment.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, adapting policies to changes in legislation.
Training and Development:
Develop and deliver EHS training programs to enhance safety awareness and ensure effective implementation of protocols.
Waste Management:
Oversee the management of waste, hazardous materials, and other environmental aspects
Emergency Response:
Lead the development of emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure organizational readiness for emergencies.
Performance Management:
Monitor EHS metrics to drive improvement initiatives and enhance safety performance and operational efficiency.
Brand Positioning:
Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.
Team Development:
Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital business success.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
BE/BTech (Fire & safety / Industrial safety)
OR BE/BTech (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) with degree or recognized diploma in industrial safety (Example:
Post Diploma in Industrial Safety or Fire & Safety)
OR Master's in industrial safety from recognized institute
Work Experience:
12-15 years of experience in EHS roles, with a strong background in infrastructure projects or industrial environments.
