Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Operations and Strategy

a. Contribute as key member of Project Management Unit of World Bank-AP SALT project based out of AP Ed.

Dept. Office at Vijaywada

b. Draft communication strategies and action plans as per the requirements of the project

c. Lead meetings, communications and relationship management between Ei, and all the stakeholders.

d. Plan and execute all communication related aspects including communication with govt. officials, writing concept notes, reports and presentations, emails and memos.

e. Design and create dashboards, data visualization and BI reports.

2. Large Scale Assessments, Capacity Building and Technical Transformation

a. Support in planning and executing teacher training on competency-based assessments .

b. Support in creating content for the workshops and trainings.

c. Help with IT systems design by creating design specifications for the EMIS system

3. Organizational Development

a. Expand the scope of projects by high quality dissemination- States Interaction, working papers etc.

b. Travel for the project needs and documenting trip reports of the same appropriately

Educational Qualifications:

1. Postgraduate in Education, Journalism, Humanities or Social sciences.

2. Knowledge of design tools like adobe XD, Figma, photoshop.

3. Experience working with visualization tools like power BI, Tableau etc.

Experience Required:

1. A minimum of 2 years experience as communications expert (essential).

2. Experience in the social sector managing communications, writing reports and proposals, creating dashboard for data visualizations is preferred.

3. Fluent in written and verbal communication in English.

4. Fluent in verbal communication in Telugu.
