Job Summary

The Lead DevOps Engineer will own in establishing the DevOps practices and tools at Targray. He/she will play a key role in designing and implementing/automating of development, test and production environments and services, establishing new operation management practices for servers and networks. He/she will also help in designing, implementing, and managing monitoring and alerting solutions, as well as be a key person in providing support. The role will report to the Manager/Lead of Infrastructure, cloud and cyber security under Targray\xe2\x80\x99s Technology and Transformation team.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement DevOps Strategy, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Dependency Management, code and binary artefact management/versioning and Application Infrastructure for whole of Targray\xe2\x80\x99s IT application assets.
  • Own the management and admin of code repositories, binary artefacts, deployment processes/pipelines and DevOps tooling across on-premises and Azure environments.
  • Own and drive application migration (from deployment, monitoring) to Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Select and set up CI/CD pipeline tooling, infrastructure.
  • Research, PoC and recommend new tooling to improve the overall Application deployment, environment management tooling and practices.
  • Handle deployment, configuration of integration infrastructure.
  • Load balancing / proxying / replicating of services, systems, components, and processes.
  • Working with rest of the infrastructure and Cloud team ensure the uptimes, availability, resilience of all application infrastructure assets.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Overall, 10 years + experience in Information technology (Developer, systems admin, DevOps)
  • 7-8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and DevSecOps tasks covering
  • Source code and binary artefact management products (e.g., Git/GitHub, Arte factory/Nexus,
  • CI/CD tools like Azure pipelines, GitHub actions
  • Application deployment in Windows as well as containerized setup (Docker/ Kubernetes) and Linux environments
  • Environment build and management using Infrastructure as Code tools like Azure ARM, Ansible, Terraform
  • Application and container monitoring (e.g., Zabbix), log analysis, health reporting (ELK/EFK etc.)
  • Application-level security, configuration management
  • Have strong understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOps, Azure environment management, pipelines and automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and administration.
  • Certification in Azure practices like Azure Solution architecture, Azure Administration or Azure DevOps will be very advantageous.
  • Strong ability to learn new technology independently and quickly.
  • Strong ability to research complex technological problems, formulate recommendations, and build technically sound and scalable solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in application infrastructure software like IIS/ web servers, TLS/SSL configuration
  • OS knowledge in Windows and Linux
  • Solid skills with programming languages such as PowerShell, Python.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
