We are looking for a Lead Developer with deep expertise in ERPNext/Frappe Framework to lead the design, development, and enhancement of our in-house Procurement Platform. This role demands a hands-on technical leader who can guide a team of developers, architect scalable solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end development of our Procurement Platform using the ERPNext/Frappe Framework.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 4-6 developers, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python, and build responsive, intuitive frontends with JavaScript.
Oversee code reviews, ensure high-quality releases, and maintain coding standards across the team.
Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with other internal/external systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the development process, automation, and system scalability.
Stay updated on ERPNext/Frappe updates and emerging technologies relevant to procurement and supply chain automation.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
7+ years of overall software development experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with ERPNext/Frappe Framework - mandatory.
Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
Proven experience in leading development teams (4-6 members) with successful project delivery.
Solid understanding of database design, API integrations, and modular architecture.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to Procurement, Supply Chain, or ERP domain.
Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
