The Airbus Long Term Archiving (LTA) is undergoing a strong modernization and renewal. A project named AIRINA is performed in SAFe mode and with DevSecOps principles. For our SAFe System Team we look for a DevSecOps Engineer.

Lead a team of Devops Developer

5 - 9 years of experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred

PRIMARY

To be successful in this job, the person must accomplish the following results:

Experience of leading the team

Strong understanding of DevOps concept and movement

Experience with building CI/CD pipelines for full automation of application deployments and deliveries

Experience with automated configuration management technologies such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef

Experience with Linux and Windows system administration

Strong experience with CI/CD methodologies, processes and tools, such as Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube including security tools like Gitleaks and Checkmarx

Experience with operational support / critical issue resolution / troubleshooting skills

Knowledge on logging & event management tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Zabbix etc.

Knowledge on test automation using frameworks and products such as Selenium, TestNG, xUnit, Postman, SoapUI etc.

Experience with hosting and operating J2EE applications using RedHat EAP as Enterprise Application Server

Experience working in and with agile delivery teams / projects / programs

Experience working on Development as well as Support profiles / skillset is highly recommended and desirable

Nice-to-have

Experience with MarkLogic NOSQL Database clusters

Experience with Camunda BPM engine

Cloud Platform-as-a-Service technologies such as OpenShift

Experience with Cloud environments like Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud

Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesosphere

General

Bachelor to Master Degree in a Technical/IT discipline or equivalent experience

Advanced level of English

Advanced level of German would be appreciated

Working times

Willingness to work outside of standard business hours incl. weekends to minimise business impacts during deployment and maintenance activities

Willingness to work in shifts to secure operational availability during transnational business hours

Responsibilities

The job holder will be

Designing, building and maintaining our automated CI/CD pipeline covering all phases to allow fully automated deployments across all environments from Development, Quality Assurance to Production

Enforcing system quality through test automation and static code analysis

Ensuring operational availability of the Digital Archive, optimizing resources utilization and help guaranteeing applications performance and reliability

Automating the traditional role of system administrators for the Digital Archive to simplify day-to-day operations

Building and maintaining appropriate monitoring as well as self-healing solutions to increase system resilience

Providing guidance and support for business and technical teams to fully leverage the benefits of automation and "DevOps"

Developing and maintaining components of the archiving system

The team will be expected to work on Operations and Development scope on Rotational Basis

Working in a multi-disciplinary agile system team as part of the overall SAFe approach
