Job Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Design Engineering support using software\'s like Pro/Engineer Wildfire 5.0, AutoCAD & Siemens NX to Fluid Conveyance products. The role involves generation of 3D models & 2D drawings adhering to engineering standards to support Fluid Conveyance Products group global locations. Performing final Quality Check for the drawings created by Designers in team, working effectively with cross functional teams & leading process improvement initiatives within team. Must be proficient in Pro-E Wildfire:5 with 3 to 5 years of hands on experience (Part Modeling, Assembly Modeling and detail Drawing of complex products & equipment) Excellent Communication skills across cross-functional teams. Should be able to maintain effective communications both verbal & written with internal customers, team members and cross functional departments Ability to perform final quality check of drawings created by self & others to ensure models/drawings meet customer requirements as well as meet group specific drafting practices. Good understanding of ISO design engineering practices Demonstrated knowledge and use of GD&T Good knowledge of Engineering change management process and execution of changes thru Enovia or any other PLM system Good understanding of design engineering practices and ERP systems Identify & lead process improvement projects to improve overall quality and productivity of team Developing & mentoring new members in team Able to handle the projects / Assignments independently Should be able to demonstrate analytical and problem solving capabilities and be proficient in more complex processes and procedures. Proficient in creating Process documents, Data/analysis sheets, Presentations used for Technical & Management meetings. Good time management is required while working on multiple activities. Should be able to independently communicate with internal and external customers on the status of requests. Background & Skills Required: Diploma OR Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute with minimum first class OR distinction having relevant 3-5 years hands on experience on Pro/E, Siemens NX.
