Job Title: Lead DBT Developer
Experience Level: 8 - 12 years

Qualification: BTech/MTech/MCA

We are seeking an experienced Senior DBT Developer with deep expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DBT, SQL, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms. This role requires hands-on expertise in modern data engineering practices and the ability to mentor junior team members while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable DBT models, pipelines, and transformations.

• Develop and manage ETL workflows to support analytics, reporting, and data quality initiatives.

• Optimize SQL queries and ensure best practices in data modeling and data governance.

• Work with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to implement secure and high-performing solutions.

• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and product teams to ensure consistent and reliable data delivery.

• Conduct code reviews, implement testing frameworks, and enforce development standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, transformations, and integrations.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in data engineering or BI development.

• Strong hands-on experience with DBT (Core or DBT Cloud) including modeling, macros, testing, and documentation.

• Expertise in SQL with the ability to write optimized, complex queries.

• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data stack principles.

• Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.

• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD processes.
