Job Description

:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to lead and support enterprise-level database initiatives. This role will focus on managing SQL Server environments, implementing upgrades and migrations, integrating cloud solutions, automating processes, and driving performance improvements.Key Responsibilities:Lead enterprise-wide database upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration projects.Administer, configure, and maintain large-scale SQL Server environments.Design, deploy, and manage high-availability solutions and disaster recovery plans.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database integrity, performance, and security.Core Experience (Mandatory):10+ years of hands-on experience managing SQL Server databases in enterprise settings.In-depth knowledge of SQL Server version upgrades and cross-environment migrations.Proven expertise in Azure SQL environments:Azure SQL Managed Instance (MI): Migration planning, deployment, and administration.Azure IaaS: Installing, configuring, and managing SQL Server on virtual machines.Strong experience with Always On High Availability Groups, including:Multi-subnet configurations and automatic failover setup.Diagnosing and resolving availability and connectivity issues.Solid background in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS):Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.Expert in query performance tuning and execution plan analysis.Deep understanding of index strategies, blocking, and deadlock resolution.Proficient in using tools like Extended Events, SQL Profiler, and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs) for deep-dive diagnostics.Skills:SQL Server, Azure SQL, Performance TuningAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
