What will you be responsible for?

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible to develop effective and high-quality healthcare program integrity analytics that meet business requirements. You will be responsible for analysing healthcare data, developing predictive models, and providing actionable insights that drive improvements in patient care and clinical outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and have a significant impact on the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Analyse complex healthcare data sets to identify trends, correlations, and patterns to support clinical research and decision-making.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and informative data visualizations to communicate results and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical models to predict clinical outcomes, patient risk, and treatment effectiveness.
• Deep Learning: Develop deep learning models/ Generative AI based algorithms
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, and data engineers to integrate data solutions into clinical workflows.
• Presentation of findings to senior leadership through different infographics
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare analytics, data science, and machine learning to propose innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• B.tech or Master\'s. in Data Science, Statistics, , or a related field.

• 8-10 years\' experience in machine learning and data science -well versed in image analytics, NLP, predictive modelling, SVM etc

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python
• Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).

• Experience working with cloud platforms preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management preferred.

• Familiarity with Generative AI- natural language processing (NLP) , text mining, Image analytics in healthcare projects such as Image analytics, NLP in clinical context

• Solid understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing.

• Excellent data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment and mentor junior team members

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with patient health data, clinical databases, electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare claims data.

• Familiarity with US healthcare data standards, such as HL7, FHIR, and ICD-10.

• Publications or contributions to healthcare-related research.
