We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Data Scientist to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with data scientists, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end advanced analytics projects that support strategic decision-making. Desired Skills & Experience
Relevant Experience:
5+ years of analytics experience in Financial Services (Universal Bank/NBFC/Insurance), Rating Agencies, E-commerce, Retail, or Consulting.
Exposure to areas like Customer Analytics, Retail Analytics, Collections & Recovery, Credit Risk Ratings, etc.
Statistical & Modeling Expertise:
Hands-on experience in techniques such as Logistic & Linear Regression, Bayesian Modeling, Classification, Clustering, Neural Networks, Non-parametric Methods, and Multivariate Analysis.
Tools & Languages:
Proficiency in R, S-Plus, SAS, STATA.
Exposure to Python and SPSS is a plus.
Data Handling:
Experience with relational databases and intermediate SQL skills.
Comfortable working with large datasets using tools like Hadoop, Hive, and MapReduce.
Analytical Thinking:
Ability to derive actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to align analytics with business objectives.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings and influence stakeholders.
