We are looking for an experienced

Lead Data Engineer - Healthcare Domain Specialist

to design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures supporting BI, analytics, and machine learning initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring data governance, compliance, and optimizing data processing capabilities across platforms.

Years of Experience

7 to 10 years

of overall experience in Data Engineering Minimum

2 years of experience in the healthcare domain

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale data architectures. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers for seamless data integration. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure data reliability and scalability. Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with standards such as HIPAA and GDPR. Mentor junior engineers, promoting continuous learning and technical excellence. Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain system performance. Keep abreast of emerging data technologies and recommend enhancements. Handle daily task management, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

Additional Candidate Preferences

Master's degree

in Computer Science or related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), wearable devices, and sensor data. Prior experience working with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of healthcare data compliance.
