Job Summary (List Format) Lead Engineer MarTech/Digital Engineering (Customer Data Management)
- Serve as technical lead for a data engineering team managing and activating customer data for Catalyst Brands.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions for marketing analytics, personalization, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, marketing, data architects, DevOps, and other teams to plan and deliver key initiatives.
- Drive adoption of best engineering practices, focusing on system scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Oversee the development, integration, and synchronization of customer data across both internal systems and third-party platforms.
- Guide architectural decisions, conduct code/design reviews, and ensure compliance and security in customer data solutions.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Utilize AWS, Apache Airflow, Spark, Python, and data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) to build robust data infrastructure.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data applications.
- Support development of AI-powered solutions and real-time data streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka).
- Operate in an agile (Scrum) environment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership.
- Apply extensive experience in data engineering, technical leadership, and marketing technology platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required; retail industry experience is a plus.
