Data Analytics is looking for Data Product Engineer to help build cloud-based Data Products.This position will focus on supporting the Boeing IT&DA goals of developing cloud native applications/adopting multi-cloud strategy. On first day we expect you to have the following 12+ years of experience in design and implementation of data products Excellent and in-depth command over DataLake/Datawarehouse technologies, SaaS and Cloud with extensive knowledge on GCP or Azure and building blocks within the platform Experience in implementing at least one Cloud based data products (transactional/No-SQL datastores) including secure cloud design considering both infrastructure and data Hands on programming experience in either Python, Java or Scala Hands on experience in building data pipelines using GCP and/or Azure platform Hands on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow/GCP Composer Some of the preferred, but not mandatory skills are Aviation domain experience Experience building self-service tooling and platforms Contributed to open source projects (Ex: Operators in Airflow) Certified Cloud Architect certification (either GCP or Azure) Typical Education & Experience: 12+ years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (eg. bachelor, master, etc) preferred but not required.
