Role Summary The Lead Engineer – Customer Project Engineering – Skids is responsible for overall delivery of skids which includes Skid engineering, Project management, manufacturing & on-time delivery of skids from vendor locations. Role involves intensive knowledge of engineering, manufacturing of skids & assemblies. Candidate should be working with multiple stake holders internally as well as externally with various disciplines of engineering viz., Process, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation to complete the skid manufacturing drawings & documents. And shall execute the skid manufacturing at vendor location envisaging necessary measures to be taken for on-time delivery & ensuring quality of skid assembly.
Essential Responsibilities / Expectations

• Perform skid manufacturing engineering by evaluating package equipment product design, manufacturing processes, project management and manufacturing at third party locations.
• Shall confer with equipment suppliers, Schedule delivery of equipment to meet manufacturing schedule and achieve on-time delivery of skids.
• Shall have experience on maintaining quality of Products and monitoring vendor quality processes,
• Shall be able to perform root cause analysis of any incident during engineering & manufacturing processes. Shall be aware of Non-conformity processes.
• Shall be providing timely solutions for any engineering / manufacturing changes arising during execution of skids.
• Shall have knowledge of package equipment, International codes & standards.
• Shall have knowledge of Manufacturing processes viz., Cutting, grinding techniques, welding processes viz., SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW etc.
• Shall have knowledge in testing requirements specified through international codes & standards.Shall have proficiency in materials and specifications. Knowledge in high alloy metallurgy would be an added advantage.

• Min 10 Years; Max 15 Years
• Minimum of 5 years of project engineering experience, and 5 years of manufacturing experience

• Exposure to skid engineering & manufacturing for a minimum of 2 years.
• Experience / Exposure to Regional / International projects related to water and wastewater treatment plants
• Demonstrate ability to accelerate change, work in a rapidly changing environment and operate independently to deliver business results.
• Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
• Capable of handling customer meetings during bidding stages
• Good communication and Presentation skills

• Exposure to site activities & Commissioning will be added advantage
• Ability to work on own initiative and independently.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
