Position Purpose
This incumbent of this role in the Corporate Finance team will support the organization's financial strategy, ensure robust financial planning, and oversee capital allocation to drive business growth and profitability. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial health, adhering to regulatory compliance, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
Strategic Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support decision-making.
• Drive the preparation of annual operating plans (AOP) and align financial goals with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for financial restructuring, cost optimization, and investments

Operational Responsibilities
Financial Operations and Governance

• Oversee corporate accounting, treasury, tax planning, and reporting functions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Develop, refine, and enforce financial policies, systems, and controls to minimize risks.
• Lead audits, statutory filings, and ensure adherence to ethical financial practices.

Capital Management and Fundraising

• Evaluate and execute capital-raising opportunities, including debt and equity financing.
• Optimize working capital and cash flow management to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with banks, financial institutions, and investors to secure funding.

Mergers, Acquisitions, and Investments

• Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Assess ROI for capital projects and other strategic investments.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Develop KPIs to measure financial performance and create actionable insights.
• Present financial results, business trends, and forecasts to the Board of Directors.

• Attend trainings as per training needs identified or imparted by HR.
• Share learnings with members of the team for cross functional development.
• Identify development areas for direct reportees and implement action plans for development.

Education Qualification
Chartered Accountant / MBA in Finance / Equivalent Qualification
Work Experience

• 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, preferably in the manufacturing or agrochemical sectors.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale financial operations and leading teams
