Role Name: Vendor Manager Position Title: Vendor Manager Function: Human resources Medical Location: Gurugram Reports to: Head Medical Services B. Job Purpose Responsible for overseeing all Medical related contract with Third Party C. Key Accountabilities Functional Activities Vendor managers will facilitate and maintain relationships between Air India and vendors/partners, negotiating contracts, creating standards for the vendors, and finding the best available vendors. He will monitor the performance of the vendor at regular intervals to ensure that the service is being provided as per contract Responsible for timely renewal of contract Team Management Work as a Team member in fulfilling all requirements of the Organisation by constantly interacting with other stake holders Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR. D. Skills/Qualities Required Analytical approach to problem-solving Requirement gathering skills Team Management skills Stakeholder management Coordination skills Process orientation Practical(application-based) knowledge in the discipline. E. Key Performance Indicators Solution Reliability Cost per Employee Adherence to Budgets DGCA compliance Time taken per case Employee Attrition Employee Satisfaction F. Key Interfaces Internal Interfaces Head Medical Services Support the Medical Services Head in providing various medical related services to the organization Remain in constant touch with the Legal Team of AI before any contract is drawn External Interfaces Third Party Medical service providers Draw new contracts as per requirement Monitor existing contracts Timely renewal of existing contracts G. Educational and Experience Requirements Minimum Education requirements Essential Qualifications: Bachelor-s degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field. Experience Minimum Desired Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Minimum two years experience Minimum of 05 years of experience
