As a Content Writer Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our content creation efforts, driving the development of high-quality written content across various platforms. You will lead a team of content writers, guiding them to produce engaging, informative, and on-brand content that resonates with our target audience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs.
    • Conduct thorough research to identify industry trends, topics of interest, and competitive insights to inform content planning.
  • Content Creation and Editing:
    • Write and edit compelling content for various channels including website, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and more.
    • Ensure all content is well-researched, accurate, and optimized for SEO to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead a team of content writers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them reach their full potential.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, manage workloads, and ensure deadlines are met consistently.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement processes and standards to maintain the quality and consistency of content produced by the team.
    • Conduct regular reviews and audits of content to ensure it meets brand guidelines, style standards, and editorial policies.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization:
    • Monitor content performance metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies, messaging, and distribution channels.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with other teams such as marketing, design, and product to support integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and reflects the company\xe2\x80\x99s values and voice.


Requirements

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (Preffered).
  • Proven experience (2 years) in content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating strong writing and editing skills.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a content or editorial team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms.
  • A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
