Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant-Java & Selenium
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Consultant with strong expertise in Java and Selenium automation. The candidate will lead automation initiatives, guide teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality testing solutions aligned with project goals.
Responsibilities
Lead automation strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects.
Architect, design, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Review test plans, test cases, and automation scripts created by the team.
Mentor, guide, and upskill junior and mid-level automation engineers.
Drive automation best practices, coding standards, and quality improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, BA, Product, QA) to ensure full test coverage.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins/GitLab CI.
Identify process gaps and propose enhancements for efficiency and quality.
Track testing metrics and provide detailed reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Strong proficiency in Core Java and OOP concepts.
Deep hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit.
Experience in building hybrid/data-driven frameworks.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Experience working with source control tools (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's/master's in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred qualifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, certifications) are a plus.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $68,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
