Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Test Automation Engineer
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automation frameworks, scripting languages, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring their timely resolution.
Perform load and performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation.
Ensure best practices in test automation, including code reusability and maintainability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for test automation in containerized environments.
• Exposure to security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
