Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Technical Writer
In this role, the candidate as Technical Writer will be primarily responsible creating and maintaining documentation about how various applications work and the business rules in which it operates. The person for this role will work be part of the engineering team but will work closely with training and operations.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Documentation:
o Create, edit, and organize user manuals, technical guides, FAQs, and other documentation to support product and service understanding.
o Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
o Work closely with developers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather and clarify technical information.
o Align documentation with product updates and team objectives.
  • Ensure Quality and Consistency:
o Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to company style guidelines.
o Implement version control practices to maintain updated and accurate documentation.
  • Innovate Documentation Practices:
o Integrate visuals, diagrams, and multimedia elements to enhance user understanding.
o Explore and utilize tools to improve documentation accessibility and engagement.
  • Content Management:
o Organize and manage documentation repositories using tools such as [Git, Confluence, or SharePoint].
o Maintain a structured process for updating and distributing documentation.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in SaaS platforms or the home/field service industries.
  • Knowledge of payments processing systems and security best practices
  • Exposure to legacy modernization projects and domain-driven design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
