Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, SRE

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Overall, experience in IT Infrastructure Management Services, Service Delivery Management, IT Operation Management, Project Management, Multi Cloud Delivery Management, Transitioning IT services and Account Management

\xc2\xb7 Work with Automation/DevOps, Change Management and ensure all the Automations / Configuration items are moved with Steady State for BAU operations

\xc2\xb7 Governance with team to ensure all incidents on the post build/implemented automations are effectively addressed/ remediated as per the agreed SLAs

\xc2\xb7 Identify opportunities to continuously streamline and Develop automations to minimize incidents.

\xc2\xb7 Lead a team of SREs in the implementation, and operation of the IT infrastructure

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that the IT infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure

\xc2\xb7 Develop, implement and monitor new SRE practices and tools

\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain documentation for the automations / infrastructure

\xc2\xb7 Works with compliance team to ensure Compliance Dashboards are Green for the IT infrastructure

\xc2\xb7 Work with SNOW tool & Automation team to identify & implement the solution which help for service improvement

\xc2\xb7 Mentor and train other SRs

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 BE/B Tech/MCA

\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong experience in monitoring tools Splunk/AppDynamics

\xc2\xb7 Strong hands-on experience in Application Support/ Development for Financial Services business or direct Client/ Customer facing platforms.

\xc2\xb7 Willingness to embrace Agile and DevOps/SRE concepts in Day-to-day work dynamically.

\xc2\xb7 Unix/Linux: Basic knowledge of Unix.

\xc2\xb7 Strong hands-on experience with AppDev support, log analysis, handling batch jobs and experienced in scheduler tools like TWS, AutoSys.

\xc2\xb7 SQL/Databases (MSSQL): Understanding of tables, views, indexes, and store procedures, and the ability to understand them by reading their definitions. Familiarity with SQL constructs. Understanding of transactions and query plan analysis.

\xc2\xb7 Solid analytical skills, problem/ risk identification and quick resolution recovery processes.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to interface and cultivate passionate working relationships with technology teams, business analysts, and vendors,SQL / PL-SQL awareness

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Java will be useful.

\xc2\xb7 Experienced, technically hands-on professional that understands both code and infrastructure

\xc2\xb7 Solid track record in an operational/support role, understands incident/problem/change management and how to drive stability across organizations.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira etc..)

\xc2\xb7 Be able to manage an outage incident, coordinating user communications, and other teams to help resolve an incident.

\xc2\xb7 Strong and keen focus on metrics and trend analysis

\xc2\xb7 Strong problem solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data

\xc2\xb7 End user support - able to talk to users to discuss their problem and work through to a resolution

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated with exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely
