We are inviting applications for the role of Specification writers & regulatory experts The person will be responsible for Creating product information using data sources such as; specification templates, raw material and finished product specifications, system business rules, process sheets / factory documentation, ERP data and specification writing guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Support management of project that will create product information in a single source of truth using data sources such as; specification templates, raw material and finished product specifications, supplier information, NPD files and systems, system business rules, process sheets / factory documentation, logistics information, ERP data and specification writing guidelines.

Activities expected to include,

  • Project communication and reporting
  • Training and preparation of training materials
  • Data manipulation / loading
  • Resolve potential issues related to project using knowledge, business experts, critical decision-making skills and judgements.
  • Manage relationships/ co-ordinate with stakeholders and business partners (internal and external)
  • Ensure appropriate change management and hyper-care
  • Facilitate implementation processes for business as usual for when project completed
Initial data extraction and manipulation will be completed by business partners external to the company. The role of this team leader is to plan, implement, track and ensure the project plan is delivered.
Scope includes all products produced for the international zone within facilities or co-packed/re-packed. Basic rules and data mapping will be provided by supervisor, but team member is expected to apply this knowledge, expand on it, make decisions, resolve issues, work with co-packer facilities, business partners, etc. with limited reference to supervisor.

  • Due to nature of project, it is expected that these activities will occur in waves and team will focus on specific zones, sites and regions or activities as project timeline dictates.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPENTENCIES
  • Knowledge of quality systems and project management.
  • Desirable knowledge in specification processes and business processes.
  • Basic systems experience (i.e., excel, e-mail and word.) and knowledge of wider company systems (Salsify, MDG, Atlas, AGILE)
  • Data will be a source of truth for various downstream processes /systems therefore good attention to detail required
  • Written and spoken English required
  • Competing priorities, short times lines mean proactive, inspirational leader is required.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
  • Working in a multifunctional team and working closely with project leader
  • Interaction with Co-packer, R&D, SCQM, and regulatory to complete product data and resolve issues
  • Cross check other people in the projects work - impact of error potential product re-call
  • List of priorities based on project timelines
Qualifications we seek in you!
The candidate have a Master's degree in science, food technology, dairy technology or related field (advanced degree preferred). A relevant experience with 8-10 years in food regulation & specification writing.
