Consultant

Developer

We are seeking a seasoned

Dot net Developer

with deep

expertise

in

C#, .NET Framework

, and

SQL Server

to lead a high-volume data transfer project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building efficient scripts or batch processes to migrate millions of records between systems using

Open APIs

. This role is critical for modernizing legacy systems and ensuring seamless data integrity and performance.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust

C# scripts or batch files

for large-scale data migration.

Interface with

Open APIs

to extract and load data between source and target systems.

Optimize

SQL queries and

stored

procedures for high-performance data handling.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the migration process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand legacy data structures and target schemas.

Implement logging, error handling, and retry mechanisms for resilient data transfer.

Document migration processes, scripts, and configurations for future

reference

.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in

C# and .NET Framework

development.

Strong

proficiency

in

SQL Server

(T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).

Proven experience in

data migration projects

involving millions of records.

Familiarity with

Open API standards

(RESTful APIs, JSON, XML).

Experience working with

legacy systems

and understanding data normalization.

Strong knowledge of

threading

and

Windows application development

.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code/scripts.

Experience with

ETL tools

or custom migration frameworks.

Knowledge of

data governance

and

compliance standards

.

Familiarity with

cloud platforms

(Azure/AWS) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
