Database Developer

In this role,

y

ou will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic business

objectives

.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable and secure database architectures using MSSQL and MySQL.

Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.

Create and

maintain

database schemas that support business processes.

Optimize

database performance through indexing, query tuning, and server configuration.

Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues and bottlenecks.

Implement and manage database security protocols, including access controls and encryption.

Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested.

Proficient in writing and

optimizing

SQL queries.

Strong understanding of relational database design principles.

Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.

Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
