Messaging Engineer
In this role,
you
will
assist
in supporting the email environment for staff around the world.
You
will
participate
in maintenance and implementation of all aspects of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange related technologies throughout the firm
.
Responsibilities
Assist
with management and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid on premcloud environment
Troubleshooting / resolution of escalated Exchange issues
Assisting
in engineering mail connectivity solutions
Assisting
in
integration
with third party Exchange related software
Management of distribution group automation solutions
Management of Mimecast email gateway security solution
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of products
Working knowledge of various other IT practices including Active Directory, networking, Windows servers, and DNS
Review and document processes related to Exchange services
Minimum Qualifications
Certification and experience in enterprise IT operational standards
Ability to effectively
analyze
complex messaging issues for resolution
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Sound understanding of Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment
E
xperience
supporting an Exchange environment
A
wareness of Exchange, DNS, AD, and M365 services.
Ability to
work
independently
and with the team.

Troubleshooting application

Creating documentation / diagrams for various Exchange related services
Solution designing for Exchange
Troubleshooting Exchange routing
Working with Edge Gateway (Mimecast)
Following enterprise Exchange best practice and advising
