Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - File Maker Support Engineer
In this role, the candidate is supposed to possess deep expertise in Supporting Applications using File maker .
Responsibilities:
1. Development (building & Improving Apps)
o The Support group:
1. Designs and builds applications using FileMaker
2. Gets requirements from Creative Circle's business analyst team
3. Handles both UI/UX design (how the app looks and works) and back-end logic (how data flows)
4. Works with other teams like .NET and Cyrus teams whenever integration is needed
o Even though CircleView is in "maintenance mode" due to Cyrus replacing some functionality, updates still happen because business processes keep evolving
2. Deployment (Releasing Updates Safely)
o All application updates are controlled by SOx compliance (strict auditing rules).
o The Support Group:
1. Works closely with business analysts, infrastructure, and .NET teams when releasing updates
2. Makes sure deployments happen outside business hours to avoid impact.
3. Uses detailed checklists so every change is tracked for audits.
4. Sometimes updates are done manually across 26 servers, and sometimes via automated cloning tools
o This ensures stability and compliance.
3. Support (Helping Users & Maintaining Servers)
o The Support Group provides ongoing support through Teams and Email.
o They handle:
1. Application issues
2. Data or integration problems
3. Server monitoring
4. Routine maintenance
o Basically, anything related to FileMaker apps
