Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - DevOps Engineer
In this role, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to architect, automate, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proficient in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and GitOps practices, ensuring seamless deployment and reliable operation of modern applications and services.
Responsibilities
1. Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, API Gateway, and CloudFront.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based systems.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
2. Automation & DevOps
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for repeatable, scalable deployments.
3. Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices using AWS IAM, KMS, Security Groups, and Network ACLs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, SOC, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor security threats using AWS GuardDuty, AWS Config, AWS Security Hub, and WAF.
- Apply zero-trust security principles and manage secure access controls.
4. Monitoring & Performance Optimization
- Set up observability and monitoring using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Prometheus, or Grafana or Loki.
- Optimize application performance using AWS Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, and caching strategies.
5. Networking & Connectivity
- Design and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, and VPN connectivity.
- Implement hybrid cloud solutions using AWS Direct Connect and Site-to-Site VPN.
- - Optimize DNS management using Amazon Route 53.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - AWS Certifications (Preferred):
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
AWS Certified Security - Specialty
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes - EKS).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Strong scripting and automation skills using YAML, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience in monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, Security Groups, GuardDuty). - Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Load Balancing, Route 53).
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS Outposts).
Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions). - Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Experience with data streaming and messaging services (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS). - Understanding of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience in AI/ML workloads on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda with AI models).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging AWS technologies.
