Job Description

As a Platform Product Manager for Compliance, you will act as a conduit between Business and Software Engineering teams (including architects and application / product delivery leads) to shape and build the compliance platform that will provide Ford with a competitive edge for the future.



Responsibilities:


Strategize /Design a functional model of scalable Compliance Digital Platform that can best suit emerging compliance business needs. Work with product / architecture teams to establish technical requirements (Data/functionality/Integration) for Compliance platform and coordinate for implementation. Work collaboratively with the product development team to create, implement and maintain suitable strategies for platform growth and optimal usage including identification of gaps, measurement of business value and planning of investments. Liaise with cross-functional teams as an enabler for build teams to successfully deliver platform services or projects. Responsible for driving the vision, strategy and roadmap of products for Regulatory Compliance Management product line. Responsible for Delivery of platforms through product steering and prioritization of demand following the process. Articulate progress - roadblocks - dependencies via metrics / milestones /approach /future roadmaps. Develop people's pipeline for sustenance of Platform capabilities.

Bachelor's or master's in engineering / computer science. 10+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT including minimum 5 years' Product Management expertise and Agile Software development. Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical solutions with a platform mindset. Proven ability to work closely with all levels of management in varying areas of business and IT. Candidate should have good knowledge in Data Centric Architecture principles and Modern Software Engineering practices Technical know-how in service-oriented architecture, development of APIs / Microservices on Google Cloud Platform with Tekton CI/CD deployment pipe automation is a must. Technical know-how in Java, Postgres SQL, Angular, MongoDB Demonstrated ability of DevSecOps mindset with full ownership of development, security, and operational support aspects of a product E2E awareness of Product Lifecycle including Compliance needs Good communication and Positive outlook to handle difficult churns. Highly Collaborative - Seek to Understand people concerns, Open to alternate approaches, build robust knowledge sharing methodologies. Ability to manage resistance ensures smooth change-management across the organizations. Knowledge and experience in Cloud technologies (GCP) Hands-on with technology (Development tools / Software management tools) Experience in running Product Driven Organization agile teams. Vendor Management and negotiation skills Domain Knowledge of Automotive Industry - specifically manufacturing space preferred Prior knowledge / Work experience is Vehicle Compliance space will be an added plus
