Job Description

Provide technical leadership for HVAC design in classified and controlled environments, ensuring compliance with stringent security and contamination control standards. Develop system concepts for cleanrooms, ATMP facilities, and critical process areas, including airflow control, pressurization, and filtration strategies. Oversee preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, Architecture) to integrate HVAC solutions into overall facility design. Ensure adherence to ISO cleanroom classifications, ASHRAE standards, and client-specific protocols. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and validation of HVAC systems for classified environments. Support project planning, cost estimation, and technical evaluations for HVAC packages. Mentor engineering teams and ensure knowledge transfer of best practices in classified HVAC design

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 15+ years of experience in HVAC design for controlled environments, including semiconductor or pharmaceutical facilities. Expertise in cleanroom HVAC design, contamination control, and classified facility requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms. Strong understanding of ASHRAE, ISO, and international HVAC standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information

Master's degree or certifications (LEED, PMP, ASHRAE) is a plus. Experience in semiconductor fabs, ATMP facilities, or defense-related classified projects preferred. Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions desirable
