About the role:

The Lead will be responsible for the execution of Bhumi's civic Clubs. The role demands a balance of volunteer engagement and team leadership to deliver impactful, scalable and smooth functioning of all civic initiatives and operations across several clubs in multiple chapters.

About the Program:

Bhumi is building one of India's largest volunteer movements. By 2030, we aim to engage 10 lakh volunteers through Bhumi Clubs, a grassroots movement of volunteers and leaders enabling hyperlocal contributions to their own communities. Every Bhumi volunteer is a changemaker, and an active citizen working toward a better India.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure seamless planning and execution of civic events, campaigns, and projects across Bhumi Clubs, consistently aligning with the vision and values of Bhumi Clubs Strategize and implement volunteer engagement approaches that promote meaningful participation, inclusivity, and a sense of ownership at the club level. Mentor and support club leaders to enhance their capacity for volunteer mobilization, civic impact, and sustainable program growth. Ensure regularity, quality, and standardised processes in key activities, ensuring alignment with the operational and strategic goals of Bhumi Clubs. Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the programme by fostering collaboration, capturing learnings, and sharing best practices across clubs.

Educational Qualification/Experience:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in any relevant field or a fellowship Minimum 2 years of Volunteering experience and community engagement.

Knowledge and Skillsets:

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with volunteers Excellent communication skills- English. Active on social media. Prompt and consistent interaction with volunteers and coordinators - essential High Emotional maturity Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage people-centric processes.
