The Citrix Service Engineer to lead and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops delivery in a cloud-first environment (Citrix DaaS + Microsoft Azure) include leading adoption of Cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) services, testing and exploring new platform standards, internal tool development, Automation. You'll help define platform standards, pilot new capabilities, and create internal tools that accelerate adoption across our Epic Infrastructure and Citrix/VDI teams.
What will you be responsible for?
Responsible for identifying and solving technical issues related to the Citrix DaaS solution, which, in addition to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops can include OS level troubleshooting, DNS, or other software issues.
Design and Develop, Evaluate and test new platform patterns (images, profiles, policies) for enterprise use.
Enhance user experience and security via Active Directory / Entra and GPOs, guardrails and baselines.
Provide your expertise in:
+ Implementing scalable Citrix DaaS solutions integrated with
Microsoft Azure
services / VMware.
+ Image management via Citrix MCS.
+ Profile Solutions including Citrix Roaming, UPM and FSLogix.
+ Monitor session, server health, applications and reporting using Citrix Monitor. Partner with security, networking, app, and endpoint teams to land platform changes safely and predictably.
Nice to have
Citrix WEM
experience (user experience tuning and resource management).
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
5-8 years of experience with Citrix/ VMware/ Microsoft Desktop and Application Virtualization technologies such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.
Exceptional ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues required, to make decisions and perform complex problem-solving activities under pressure.
Proven automation skills using PowerShell / Python
Strong knowledge on Microsoft Windows platforms, Active Directory, DNS, Citrix policies, GPO.
Ownership mindset of assigned environments, operations, and initiatives, and look for ways to continually improve user experience.
Must have experience in documenting and governance of SOPs and Runbook
