Roles and Responsibilities We are currently seeking CAE engineer, who will be functionally working onvehicle CAE and will be guiding design engineer and will be a key contributor to theProject. As CAE engineer you will be responsible for the complete vehicle CAE by meeting functional requirements & performance criteria (Crash, Torsional, Bending, safety, ride quality, NVH etc.) which includes creating requirements, adhering to regulatory, design recommendations, interfacing with cross-functional team, preparation of DVP, etc. Candidate must have good communication and want to work in a very dynamic environment requiring self-starting to lead the design and concern resolution of the design in anenvironment that could ultimately be very disruptive in the mobility sector
Job Accountabilities Perform Simulation activities and deliver validated results with respect to design targets using CAE Tools. Should be able to set up full vehicle model, debug the model for Simulia environment, interpret the results, post process the deck. Selection of element type, mesh size, material properties, element quality check and selection of right material models and parameters. Interpreting and understanding FEA results, post- processing and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with design solutions. Vehicle architecture validation & recommendation based on requirements &performance criteria (Crash, Torsional, Bending, safety, ride quality, NVH etc.) Model development, execution and analyse results, performance including Model Validation, Normal Modes etc. and Prepare Reports & Present analysis results effectively Perform correlation studies with respect to Physical test and support Certification throughsimulation, be in position to eliminate physical tests Complete study of various regulatory requirements for vehicle and adherence of regulatory requirements Interfacing, documenting and capturing the internal and external system requirements in the design. To interface with cross functional systems like mechanical, electrical, structures, communication, network analysis, safety, requirement manager, verification and validation, certification etc. Preparation and evaluation of high level system architecture using well established approach like Pugh Matrix.
