Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end retail technology integration projects, from initiation to closure.
  • Single Point of Contact (SPOC): Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging to stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Apply deep understanding of the retail industry to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure solutions align with strategic goals.
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of various retail technologies (e.g., POS systems, inventory management, e-commerce platforms, CRM) into existing systems.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT) and external vendors to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Resource Management: Acquire and manage project resources (human, financial, and technological), ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 14 - 16 years of experience in project management, preferably in the retail industry, with a strong focus on technology integration
  • Retail Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of retail operations, processes, and challenges.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of retail technologies (POS, inventory systems, e-commerce, CRM, etc.).
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage complex projects, using methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with Technical and Non-technical Stakeholders.

Preferred Certification:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
