The Role Responsibilities
The role holder is accountable for supporting the day to day business management and strategic planning to the Cash Management Team. This role entails close working relationship with the respective counterparts in Products, Ops, COO and global leads from other Technology & Innovation (T&I) teams to execute the strategic priorities of Cash Technology. Strategy and Business
  • Day to day business management activities, including the preparation of senior-level presentations to articulate the strategic priorities of the Cash Technology function.
  • Design, set up and implement the \xe2\x80\x9coperating rhythm\xe2\x80\x9d and ways of working with the objective of running business management in a structured, organized, disciplined and smooth manner
  • Driving performance and results for Cash Technology, continuously improving business management efficiency by simplifying and standardizing operational processes and procedures and sharing best practices
  • Supporting corporate governance, adherence to policies, cost centre management and housekeeping and office administration matters
  • Assist with strategic planning including the development and production of strategic plans, management business reviews, performance updates, analysis, and presentation.
Processes
  • Work closely with PMO and Business Finance to resolve cost-related issues to support the overall financial health of the CashTechnology function
  • Work closely with PMO and Client Journey Product Leads to ensure that budgets are tracked and monitored
  • Support organisational change initiatives and the implementation in both Group and Country
  • Support the design, review, and roll-out of scorecards including assist in objective setting
  • Works closely with HR and Organisational Design teams for any strategic restructuring and organisation design exercises
  • Execute change management when implementing structural changes
  • Support external digital award submission for Cash Technology, coordinate and contribute to the business awards submission with Products and Operations.
  • Support the team in facilitating internal and external communication and delivering high quality and clear management information and presentations
  • Supporting the Cash MT in employee engagement through planning and implementing Global Calls, communication avenues via internal platforms etc. Coordinate and support business engagements with other teams and partners in the Bank, and external parties (i.e. consultants, vendors, auditors, regulators, clients, media/publications)
  • Support the delivery of management information and high-quality presentations for Cash Technology in various forums
People & Talent
  • Champion and act as a role model of the Group\xe2\x80\x99s values and culture
  • Lead and support a change in mindset, building a culture of client centricity, agility, and accountability through standardised metrics and measurement, ensuring everyone in Cash Technology are drivers and owners of client outcomes.
  • Provide support to ensure team structure/capacity is reviewed to enable delivery of client outcomes.
  • Provide support the provision of on-going training & development, ensure that direct reports are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles and that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risk.
Risk Management
  • Proactive in monitoring and seeking regular assurance that the areas of responsibility and teams are performing to an acceptable risk and control standard.
  • Work towards the elimination of non-standard processes and systems that contributes to high operational risk.
  • Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees.
Governance
  • Familiarise with key policies (on delegated authorities, T&E, G&E, OBI, Block Leave, Handbook etc.) and actively managing and review process to ensure policies are adhere to.
  • Manage corporate governance matters as required
  • Ensure \xe2\x80\x9chousekeeping matters\xe2\x80\x9d are in order such as completion of mandatory team elearning, trainings, job objectives completed etc.
  • Embed the Group\xe2\x80\x99s values and code of conduct in the Cash Technology Team to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics and compliance with relevant policies, processes, and regulations among employee\xe2\x80\x99s form part of the culture.
  • Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective governance, oversight and controls in Cash businesses re: Technology
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
