Your key responsibilities



BFA will be part of the TMI Tech India team . The key objective of Business functional analyst role is to bridge the gap between the stakeholder needs and the technical delivery team and to help successfully deliver projects in an agile manner. The PO will be heavily involved at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from initial scoping and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with the IT team to deliver working software. The PO will be required to write user stories in JIRA and work effectively with the stakeholders including Business and Technology within and outside ESG to successfully deliver the projects. Being in an Agile team, the PO ideally would be required to wear the hat of a QA as well and write BDD test cases as acceptance criteria along with product validation. The role requires an enthusiastic, pragmatic self-starter who wants to solve problems by delivering quality and cost-effective solutions through the employment of excellent business analysis techniques and functional domain knowledge. Responsible for defining business requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business and obtaining sign-off Enables and drives Agile ways of working not just on the technology side but also on business side Demonstrate strong understanding of investment banking with excellent understanding of technology and domain. Experience of working in banking and/or in a regulated area Work with various Business, Technology and any other stakeholders to arrive at product delivery road map against the current state system data flows & suggest the future state data flows for the project at hand Ensure quality of requirement document covering all perspectives with alignment to strategy of the organization Provide strong functional expertise in terms of the product queries from the stakeholders Conduct walkthroughs to validate the Business requirement and supporting artifacts with all the stakeholders Work with Technology team, Operations Teams, Change Teams, Group Architecture, and other work streams within the program Create presentation and training packs in support of the designed process Provide support to testing and the RTB teams in test execution and planning from data sourcing perspective. Experience working in an Agile environment is desired - being familiar and strong working experience with all agile ceremonies Ability to support and mentor other Business functional analysts and/or business analysts Strong experience in backlog management and prioritization with solid negotiation skills Reviews business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions Reviews feasibility studies and estimates Responsible for defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients



Your skills and experience



Overall, 15+ years' experience primarily in banking and/or finance domain in a regulated environment Good domain knowledge of investment banking, securities market, trade lifecycle is necessary. Good understanding of Treasury operations within a bank like ALM, cash management, liquidity management, foreign exchange, risk management and regulatory compliance Understanding and adherence to compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures with regards to the assigned project Good experience with working with reference data like Client, Instrument, Book etc. within a Bank Should have worked in scaled agile and understanding of PO roles and responsibilities Familiarity of concepts with Vision, Roadmap is a plus Excellent understanding of IT system landscape Strong experience in business and functional analysis in investment banking area Superior analytical skills and good understanding of project life cycle Good to have certifications CFA, FRM PO certifications are desirable - PSPO, CSPO or SAFe or equivalent Good data analysis skills. Should have good SQL, Excel, Access experience to perform data analysis. Must have experience in working requirement collection tools like JIRA, Confluence etc., Experience working with surveillance applications within Compliance will be a plus.
