Whattheroleisallabout:
AsLeadBA,youwillberesponsiblefordefininganddocumentingdetailedrequirements with product management, ensuring they are well understood by delivery teams, and providing regular analysis and support of our growing system and product footprint.
Youwillplayakeyroleinthesolutiondesignanddeliveryofproductsandservicesina collaborative team environment using agile methods. The role requires excellent
communicationandcollaborativeinvolvementthroughallstagesofproductdevelopment from concept, design and requirements through inception, specification, development, testing, release and retirement.
Whilenotwodaysarelikelytobethesame,yourtypicalresponsibilitieswillinclude:

• Understandingcomplexbusinesslandscapesandclearlyarticulatingbusinessneeds from a varied group of stakeholders
• Extensive requirements gathering from product managers, analysts, tech leads and other business stakeholders and translating business needs into system or product requirementswithclear,conciseandtestableuserstories&processflowstoensure use cases are met.
• Collaborate with the development team to test features and implement shift-left testingpractices,ensuringearlyandfrequenttestingthroughoutthedevelopment lifecycle.
• Stronganalyticalskills,includingtheabilitytointerpretcomplexbusinessneedsand translate them into requirements and data specifications for technical solutions
• Ensuringtheserequirementsarewellunderstoodbydeliveryteamsthroughstory kick offs and constant communication.
• Analyzingbusinessprocesses,workflowsanduser journeysusingtechniquessuchasprocess n maps,valuestream mapsandstory boards.
• Identifyingandcommunicatinganyrequirementdependencies,issuesorrisks identified through the analysis process.
• WorkcloselywiththeEngineeringmanagertorunagilescrum ceremoniesand produce agile artefacts.
• Contributingtotheteamsunderstandingandprioritisationduringsprintplanning meetings
• Participatinginestimationsessionsbydescribingtherequirementsandclarifyingany questions raised
• Workingcloselywithothersquadsacrossconsumerandcustomergroups,andthe wider business to shape the direction of the complete solution architecture.
• Usingyouranalyticalskills tosupporttheteamsactivitiesincludinglegacymigration activity, service delivery and system & customer production issues

Whowerelookingfor:

• Lead BA with 5-8 years of experience, with the ability to understand complex businesslandscapesandclearlyarticulatebusinessneedsfromavariedgroupof stakeholders
• Extensiverequirementselicitationexperience,gatheringrequirementsfromproduct managers, analysts, tech leads and other business stakeholders and translating businessneedsintosystemorproductrequirementswithclear,conciseandtestable user stories & process flows
• Strongcollaborationskills,andtheabilitytoworkwithvariedstakeholdersacross technical, product and commercial domains
• Abilitytocollaboratewiththedevelopmentteamtotestfeaturesandimplement shift-left testing practices, ensuring early and frequent testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stronganalyticalskills,includingtheabilitytointerpretcomplexbusinessneedsand translate them into requirements and data specifications for technical solutions
