About the role:



Provide financial management to Finance DD IT and M&A DD IT organizations

About the Role



Key Requirements:



F&MA (DD IT Finance and DD IT Mergers& Acquisition) BPA responsible for financial management and oversight of DD IT M&A projects and F&MA DD IT operational costs. Lead financial planning processes including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, deviation analysis and strategic planning initiatives Consolidate and report all relevant data, conduct risk and opportunity analyses. Provide insights on aspects of business performance and come up with concise improvement suggestions Business partner with DD IT peers on topics related to DD IT projects and running costs of F&MA DD IT organization Accounting and controlling activities related to IT projects- Review project charters, ensure proper accounting, monthly reporting. Execute standard Novartis project controlling process. Perform standard period close activities for area in scope

Essential Requirements:



University Degree in Finance with 5+ years' experience Prior experience in business planning and analysis roles. Prior experience with M&A (Mergers& Acquisition) deals in any capacity is a plus Required to be available for meetings/calls in California US time zone up to 3-4 times per month. SAP knowledge is plus

Desirable Requirements:



Experience of working in corporate environment with multiple stakeholders Excellence in critical thinking and rapid problem-solving capabilities Good communication and presentation skills (writing memos, preparing conclusions, slides) Good accounting knowledge and experience with execution of financial controls
