Lead the bidding planning & execution for a utility company in India Play a key role in the growth and establishment of a new BU Lead the bid planning for the new BU- from tender identification to bid submission to deal closures Manage different cross functional stakeholders for approvals internally and externally Develop suitable and competitive proposals in line with the tender requirements and organizational priorities Engage in risk control by staying updated with the latest market developments and competitor movements Lead discussions of all the agreements and contracts- JDA, PPAs, etc In case of bid success engage the execution phase towards Financial close (negotiation and contracting of the major contracts and project documents) Notice to proceed, construction and commissioning of the project. Responsible for maintaining end of project forecasts (cost and schedule) and updating the overall business plan The Successful Applicant Should be a seasoned bid manager with atleast 15 years of experience in bidding within conventional power projects or oil & gas projects Deep knowledge of Indian bidding processes and government tenders Must be able to plan and submit well drafted bids and proposal documents as per requirements with suitable costing calculations done in the background Must have a very good understanding of vendors and suppliers ecosystem Adept at pricing, commercial moderls, preparing MIS updates Must be capable at negotiations and contract closures What\'s on Offer The candidate will get the unique opportunity to lead the growth and development of a new business unit for an renowned organization.
