We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments. You'll play a critical role in shaping product direction, owning architecture decisions, and scaling systems to meet growing demands.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems using modern microservices architecture.
• Work across multiple technologies and functionsxe2x80x94design, backend, DevOps, and even client interactions as needed.
• Own projects end-to-end, from concept to production deployment, ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.
• Champion clean, maintainable code and best engineering practices through code reviews, architecture discussions, and tech specs.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Build reusable backend components, contribute to internal tools and frameworks, and continuously improve developer productivity.
• Drive adoption of engineering standards across multiple codebases and ensure quality and consistency.

• 4+ years of hands-on backend development experience, with expertise in Node.js and Python.
• Proven experience building production-grade web applications and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and backend frameworks.
• Proficiency with tools and technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Git, Linux, and AWS.
• Excellent debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills.
• Comfortable owning large pieces of architecture and leading cross-functional efforts.
• Strong product mindset with attention to design detail and user experience.
• Passion for learning new technologies and tackling unfamiliar problem areas.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
