Mission of the Role

Contribute to the Provision of high-quality forestry Certification audits, to support client retention.

Identify potential leads for certification services provided by COTECNA India and transfer to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

To conduct FSC Chain of Custody audits in line with being an auditor for a COTECNA affiliate office.

To conduct FSC COC/FM and sustainability services audits as per business requirement across regions.

Be abreast of trends and Customer requirements and to share market intelligence time to time to adjust strategy.

Liaise with various govt. departments to be abreast with latest requirements and customize solutions accordingly.

Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills

College or university qualification) AND two (2) years of professional experience in the forest products sector OR Secondary education (high school certificate) AND four (4) years of professional experience in the forest products sector essential.

Successful completion (certificate) of an IRCA registered "ISO management standard auditor course" OR an ISO 19011 course on auditing techniques essential.

Successful completion (certificate) of an FSC CoC Auditor Training course conducted by an ASI approved training provider.

Knowledge of FSC Core Labour Requirements and national labour laws of countries where audits are performed essential.

FSC CoC Auditor previously qualified by another certification body preferred.
