JOB TITLE LEAD ASSOCIATE - OPS CONTROL (GL) FINANCE & ACCOUNTINGPROCESS General Accounting ProcessPURPOSE The Lead Associate is responsible for deliverables pertaining to delivery of Month close, Journal entries, Proficiency in recons .Experience in Transfer pricing will be an added advantageWORK EXPERIENCE Around 5+ years of experience in outsouring environment across any industry vertical Scope of work to include? Preparation & Review of journals entries? Should have knowledge of end to end activity on F&A till the GL process? Month close monitoring and reviewing and preparation of reports? Analaytical review of the journals including trend analysis ? Experience in performing & Managing the Financial reporting process ? Handled Intercompany process, Revenue accounting? Manage stakeholder requests & queries? Capable of handling multiple countries and ERP's? Experience in Oracle is an added advantage? Should have expert knowledge in Reconciliation process? Knowledge and concept on Transfer pricing preferredDUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Operationso Process management - Responsible for the day to day deliverables, adherence to SLAs across various lines of business, delivering on quality and key client projectso Stakeholder engagement - Client Management and deliver key stakeholder projectso Knowledge in Transfer Pricing will be an added advantageo Should have a proactive communication with the client Risk / Controlso To have a regular review on the associated risks and to ensure sufficient controls are in placeCustomer Satisfactiono Proactive and excellent client management skills in handling service delivery issues or potential delays in achieving deadlines by keeping the relevant parties informed and having regular interaction with the top management and ensuring good CSAT scoreso Maintain good working relationship with onshore peers by having regular scheduled callsTransformation, Innovation and Process Improvementso Should contribute to Operational Development and Continuous Improvement in processes & deliverables reponsible for o Co ordinating with the quality team in ensuring the process improvement in place and improve the quality of the deliverables QUALIFICATION Semi Qualified Accountant or equivalent professional with minimum 5 Years of relevant experienceSKILL SETSSoft Skills o Recognizes and assesses several likely causal factors or ways of interpreting the information available. o Identifies connections between situations that are not obviously relatedo Prior experience in oracle or other reporting tools preferableo Prior experience in working in multiple ERP tools preferableo Should be Proficient in Microsoft office package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) to delivery day to day operational deliverablesBehavioural Competencies o Attention to detailo Team players with a ready disposition to learn o Professional mannerismso Customer Centricityo Commitment and reliabilityo Versatile and adaptableo Work under tight deadlines and presureCommunication Skills o Communicates complex issues clearly and credibly with widely varied individuals within and outside organizationo Uses varied communication methods to promote dialogue and shared understandingo Adapts communication style to handle complex ono theo spot questions from customers or internal stakeholders
